My goodness,
it has been almost a month since I have posted.
August is such a busy month for us.
Many birthdays and lots of family fun!
Well I participated in a BPC Class,
28 Days of Sketches,
but I didn't get the chance to post many of them
and still working on 'em,
but Linky Love is a perfect opportunity to share some of the LO's.
This was Mother's Day 2010.
Dak took me to Old Chicago.
And WOW did we eat Cake.....
CHEESECAKE AS BIG AS MY HEAD!!!
And of course, I LOVE the details!
Here is a tag that I made during May's Camp Scrap.
This was such an interesting foil technique.
I made this tag, but didn't post it,
because I wasn't to sure how I liked it,
but WOW on this LO, I LOVE IT!!
I LOVE to mix and match my letters for titles.
It gives my page interest and well.....
detail =)
This paper is so very old on this one, and it felt really good to get it out and use it.
I'm trying to work through some of my older papers,
mixing them with newer ones.
Oh sweet doodle twine,
how I love thee!
I love your versatility and how you stretch my
creativity.
I so indeed love when I have a ribbon epiphany.
It makes me happy.....
giddy really.
=)
This LO looks so simple,
but was one took some time.
I cut out the chevron and pop dotted every other row
for texture.
Love it!
Ahhh sweet stickles,
you get me every time =)
This page was such a joy to work on.
I'm really starting to see a style developing.
YAY!!!
The details on this page
make my heart go pitter-patter.
I found this unused stamp in my stash and put it to use.
YAY!!!
I stamped and then colored with Distress Markers
and added some bling for tires.
And then the letters for the title are the same style just different colors,
but Oh the detail.
I did pen work around the letters but not all the way around.....
So fun!!!
Love the whimsy this brings to my page.
About a month ago, I won a set of journaling stamps.
What a Blessing!!!
This is one of my favs!!
I used to be so bad at journaling,
but now I absolutely LOVE telling the stories of my pages.
This g-babe brings us such joy,
that telling the story is the highlight of the page along with the pics.
Yep, I'm loving this!!!!!
These last 2 are not LO's but tags.
This one I did in about 15 mins or so.
I didn't have long and so wanted to do a little crafty fun,
but didn't have a LO started,
so decided to do a tag.
So pretty!!
And then this is one I made for a LO page,
but it didn't work out,
so I was left with a tag with no page to go on,
but I want to remember this technique,
so it will probably go in my art journal.
I heat embossed lines for journaling,
and LOVE the result!!!
Want to remember this gem.
So I know these were a lot of pics,
but when I am a slacker for almost a month,
that is what happens at linky time =)
Thank you Ashli for hosting this.
You are the hostess with the mostess!!!
Have a Blessed and Beautiful Crafty Kind of Day ~~
