Bright Ideas

So I love Instagram.
And through Instagram I found out that
Studio Calico was having a new class.
I found it the last day available to sign up.
And I'm so happy I did =)

It is called "Bright Ideas"
and they have assembled some of the best designers
for this class.
Every week day in February,
they will post a new PDF and challenge.
That ='s 20!!
And it was only $12.
So happy about this class!!!

The first one was by Amy Tan.
Love her.

The first challenge was to make your own stencil.
I got a new heart punch the other day,
and so I used the negative from punching
as my stencil,
and I used a blue paint dabber to make the heart through the stencil.
I LOVE blue and yellow color combo.
It is one of my fav's.

This picture was from an adventure vacation my husband and I
took in May.  I haven't scrapped many of these pictures,
and hopefully I will get a lot of them done through this class.

This was truly a "Love in the Wild" kind of vacation.
The weather was beautiful one day of our trip.
This day.
The other days it was just pretty crazy,
but we had fun crazy weather or not.

I just love the stenciling and stitching on this page.
The zigzag stitching through the heart kinda makes it look like a heartbeat. =)
I love the wood grain Washi.....(won it over the summer =)
Love the misting and all the other hearts.....
Oh and the twine.
I really like the way this turned out.

These were papers used for my February CKC.
Gonna love them!!!

I am gonna love this class.
I need some new challenges to get me out of my current
little rut.
Not a bad rut.
Just a little one =)

I hope you have a
Blessed and Beautiful,
Crafty, Kind of Day ~~
