November CKCB Kit

Welcome to the November blog hop!
You should have come here from the lovely Angela's blog.

WOW!!  So it is totally November!!!
WOOT!!!  Hello Holiday Season.
Welcome!!

So our kit over at the CKCB this month is from JBS.
Take a look at this bit of lovely.
Oh my goodness.
I love fall colors, the cooler weather, owls.
Lovely.

And there are several addon kits as well with this one.
I chose the mini kit to also counterfeit this month as well.
YAY!!

I mean look at this little mini.
So cute!!  So much fun here.

So let's start with the main kit.
I will be working on my mini fast and furious
this month, but I know I will also be doing regular
pages too, so hence two kits for me this month =)

Here is my cardstock.
Yes several sheets this month.
Not my usual way of working,
but this month, I wanted to incorporate LOTS
of scrap pieces.

I did include just a few sheets of PP, but only a few.

And LOTS of scraps in my main kit.
This is just a small sampling.
Lots of black and brown and red and lovely fall colors.....

Here are some embellies.
I LOVE the "i love us"
and the felt pieces.....
and the vellum....
and the keys.....
and the.....
and the.....
Well you get the picture =)

Lots of cut apart cards.....

And then this is just a look into my scrap envelope.
Yep LOTS of fall goodness in there.

And then the mini.
Well Sir Cuteness (my gbabe) wanted me to do his mama a mini
right along with the one I make him of his Halloween fun.
So this year I will be making two mini's.
Count 'em 2!!
WOW!!!
So the Heidi Swapp mini is the one with the heart and that on is mama's.
Then the other mini is I believe from.....ummmm..... well the name of it
leaves me at the moment.....hmmmm.....
anyway.....
It was a plain chipboard mini and I misted it with a SC mask and
HS Tinsel mist and looking so forward to adding the goodies to the front.
LOVE.

Here are some of the goodies for the mini.
I mean seriously.....

The 12x12's I'll cut down.
Look at that spider web paper.
Oh Theresa Collins..... YOU ROCK!!!

And this envelope.
Oh Theresa.....seriously!!  And this frame....
I tell ya,
she killed it this year!!

Now instead of doing a Halloween paper pack,
I decided to stay with TC, but do one for colors instead,
because I am NOT into scary Halloween stuff and stuff,
so I chose this paper pack, because it stays with TC,
so the colors go together and introduces more than just black and
orange.

Lots of fun tid bits.
Yep Theresa Collins frames.
OH YEAH..... Maya Road.....
That's where that mini came from.
Silly menopause brain =)

So there you have it.
My lovely kits for CKCB November Kit.

Now Hop right on over to the fabulous Jemma http://just-jimjams.blogspot.com/
And see what loveliness she has in store for you.

And in case you get lost along the way.....

LOTS of fun stuff coming from the Design Team this month.
So do please keep checking the CKCB Blog and back here,
as I have LOTS of fun goodies coming your way =)

CKCB October Kit

Welcome to the CKCB October Blog Hop.
If you are following the hop, then you are
here from the amazing Angela's  blog.
If you just stopped by, howdy and you may want to head back to
CKCB and start following along from the beginning.

So this month our kit to counterfeit is the fabulous
September kit from Cocoa Daisy.
Look at this bit of lovely.....

So for my  kit I pulled out one sheet from the actually kit,
that lovely navy floral that I LOVE.
And then 3 sheets from Maggie Holmes new line for
Crate Paper, Flea Market.
I LOVE THIS LINE.
So pretty.  I mean seriously look at
the Bokeh hearts!!
And that painted fence and the
chevron wood grain.....beautiful.
Then I pulled out 3 from Alison Kreft for Webster's Pages....
the book paper (back from a previous kit), the bicycles, and
the camera's.  Such a fun take on a camera sheet.
Then the clouds you see here is from Kaiser Kraft and something
I've had in my stash and really want to get used.
Beautiful papers.

Then my cardstock.
Yes that is a piece of cork paper
from Echo Park, Note to Self.
LOVE IT.

For the cut out sheets, I again turned to Maggie.
I tell ya, we could be BFF's.
anyway.....
The three cut aparts you see here are from her new
Flea Market line.  Gorg!!
And then I threw in this map sorta, kinda cut apart sheet.
I'm really thinking about keeping it as is and using it as a
PP for a background and not cut it apart.
Hmmmm..... we shall see how this goes.

Oh Maggie, Maggie.....
Chipboard stickers from her latest line (Flea Market)
look at that deer....be still my heart,
and her previous line, both from Crate.
They go so well together.
I mean seiously.... Look at these colors.

A little close up.....
yummy.

I added some frames, from yes Maggie
(we're on a first name basis now ya know =)
and Pink Paislee, some Tim Holtz tiny paper clips,
since I didn't have any of those cute little camera
paper clips, I thought I'd toss these beauts in.
And here is a tag from the cut aparts.
See anything interesting?

I cut a circle from the tag above and from some others
on the cut apart and made some flair.
Easy Peasy and oh so cute!
The little ones were made with hot glue.
I need to trim them a little better,
but aren't they sweet.  They were a little tricky,
and I didn't know if I would use them at first,
but I love them.  They'll find their way on a page.
Certainly.

So there you have it.  My kit for October.
Now head on over to the gorgeous Jemma to see what she is up to
with this kit.

September CKCB Kit

Welcome to the September CKCB Blog Hop.
if you are following the hop,
then you should have come here from the lovely Angela's blog.

I absolutely LOVE the kit for this month.
It is the July Citrus Twist Kit.
They have several kits and we can choose whichever one we would
like from July.

I chose the lovely Project Life Kit entitled "Adventure".
Now let me just do a disclaimer:
I AM NOT A PROJECT LIFER!!
I know, I know, if I'm not, then why in the world
would I choose that kit for this month?

Well, for the month of September,
I will be participating in Shimelle's
Learn Something New Everyday,
and this year she is using divided page protectors.
I decided that I wanted to do mine that way as well.

I have also decided to start an album for my Gbabe,
Sir Cuteness, and do it in a divided page protector style,
because he loves all things linear and organized.
So although this is NOT the way I normally scrapbook,
it will be such a wonderful challenge.

So here is the kit I am counterfeiting.....

I have chosen 2 paper packs essentially for this.
Because LSNED is for 30 days, I need quite a bit of paper.....

Oh EP "Here and Now" how I love thee!!

I chose my sassafras letter stickers for this kit.
They are a good size for this kind of kit.....
And I need to use them up =)

Now when it comes to embellies,
I am choosing somethings that will repeat throughout my album.
I LOVE the wood veneer and these wood circles.
I got the circles at a garage sale this summer.
A HUGE lot of them for about $3.  GREAT deal!
Also the original kit had some sequins so I have included those as well.

Now I wanted to show you some of my base pages for my LSNED
album.  I love how Shimelle uses one sheet of 12x12 for her title page.
I loved it so much that I am doing my whole album, for the most part
like this.  I am taking a 12x12 and cutting it to fit my divided pages,
but you still get the look of the whole 12x12, and then I will build
on top of that.
I am SO very excited about this!!
This will be my title page.

Here is another example....
This is two pages, both doily pages from the Maggie Holmes Collection
paper pack.  One in green, one in pink.  LOVE.

Well now I wanted to share with you the original kit that I did for this
month from this kit.  This is the kit I will be using for Sir Cutenesses album,
and even if I don't get to really use it a lot this month, it will be the one that
I use to work on it, so I will be showing you some of the pages I do as I get them
done.

Yes there is some bottle caps, regular flair and super hero flair.
Yep we are cool like that =)
And some printables too.

And then here are some items that me and Sir Cuteness have made
over the last month or so.  He LOVES to play with me in the studio,
and some of these items we made in Claudine Hellmuth's class last
month.
And yes there are also some lovely banners and doilies in there.
Looking really forward to using this kit as well.

Thank you so much for stopping by.
Now please hop on over to the lovely Jemma and see what she has picked
out for July.

And here is the entire hop list just in case you get lost:

Retro Chic - August CKCB Kit

Welcome to the CKCB DT Kit Reveal Hop for August.
Can you believe it is August already?
It is a seriously busy birthday month here in the Winslow
household.  So lots of scrappy occasions coming up =)

I'm so glad you are here and if you are following the hop,
you should be here via the lovely Angela's blog.

So this month did I ever ponder on this kit.
These colors I found a little hard to replicate.
Seems I don't have a whole lot of black and cork in my stash.
So I pondered.....
And pondered.....
And pondered some more.

And did come up with my kit, that I actually really like,
but I know will find it a challenge, because it is a little
outside my norm.
But I'm always up for a good challenge =)
so here we go.

The kit for this month is The Confidence Kit from
Scrapping from the Inside Out.

It is a lovely kit.  Isn't she? =)

So it was time, really past time,
for me to get my kit built, and build I did.
Say hello to "Retro Chic".
This is the first month I've ever named my kit,
but I love it!  Kits always have a name, and I thought
mine needed one to.

Here are the lovely patterned papers I chose:
Echo Park:  Happy Camper - Arrowhead
Echo Park:  This & That - Dots - Quilt - Flower Box (2)
MME:  Stella Rose - Hazel
MME:  Follow Your Heart - Be amazing
Basic Grey:  Obscure
Webster's Pages:  Palm Beach - Flamingo Fun
Glitz:  Cashmere Dame - Banner - Gingham - Floral

Here is the lovely Cardstock:
(2) Aquas - Kraft - Brick Red - Sunny Yellow

There were several cut apart sheets in the kit.  I gave this a little thought.
I have a lot of cut apart sheets, that I don't utilize enough,
SO I added several to my kit.
Echo Park:  This & That - Red Floral - Wooden Nickel (2) - Yardsticks - Journaling Cards
Echo Park:  Oh Snap - Cameral Journal Cards
MME:  Follow Your Heart - Be Amazing Ephemera Paper

My mom bought me the Echo Park This & That collection a while back,
and it seems to fit my "Retro Chic" styled kit this month, so I've added
quite a bit of it to this kit.

In fact, I included the sticker sheet and the letter sheet from this line
as well as the sticker sheet from the Echo Park Note to Self line.
Love these and seriously need to use them.
They need a home on a page I tell ya.  =)

And I added some Glitz rubons and some misc. rubons that I've
had in my stash far to long.
There is some MME The Sweetest Thing chipboard,
as well as some Crate Paper chipboard.

Yes there is more....
I know, stop it already!!
But no, I continue =)

A little bit of Indie Chic from MME and some Authentique Icon elements.

I was so glad the original kit has flowers in it.
I heart flowers.
So I added some.
And some leaves.
For good measure =)

And a chipboard mustache.
LOVE.

And random bits and bobs and bottle caps and
doo-dads and thingy-ma-bobs.
Oh and dylusions Ink Spray.
Yes please, every day of the week.

And stamps.
The one on the left is an older MME stamp set that seems to
make the cut more times than not.
Love.
And I added a letter stamp set this month, because it needs some love.
Its feeling a tad lonely.
And then one more set for good measure.
It is a newer set and needs a home on a page.

And with that.....
I called her done.

WOW!!!  I know right!!

I'm exhausted just looking at this baby.
I am REALLY looking forward to the challenge of this kit.

With my July kit I ended up with:
11 LO's
1 Tag Book
&
5 Cards

I call that a pretty successful use of my kit.
Only had one PP left over.  I tucked her safely back in the file,
and will get it out for another kit I am sure, as it is a fav.
So I am hoping for August to be just as successful if not more so,
with such a lovely kit and LOTS of choices to pick from.

So from here please go check out the delightful Jemma's blog.
And here's the full list, just in case you get lost along the way.

Thank you so much for stopping by,
and have a Blessed and Beautiful, Krafty Kind of Day ~~
